Duck Tolling Retrievers
Our passion, and the theme behind Hunts Point, is our Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retrievers, otherwise known as “Tollers” or “The Little Red Dogs.” They’re medium-sized dogs, very smart and energetic. In fact, you'll need a good throwing arm because your arm will give out before the dogs do.
Our first Toller was Mindy. She started her show career winning Best Puppy at the National Specialty Show in Appleton, Wis., in September 1998 at the tender age of 6 months. Mindy has received her Rusty Jones Award from the NSDTRC (USA).
Abby joined us in early 1999 from England. She received two Evelyn A. Williams Award of Excellence (NSDTRC USA) for receiving two high in trials. Abby has also received a Rusty Jones Award from the NSDTRC (USA) and a Doberstein Award from the NSDTRC of Canada.
Duncan is the newest addition to our family. He’s from one of Abby’s litters.

Mindy, Abby and Duncan are all hunting guide dogs at Hunts Point. For more photos of them, visit the Photo Gallery.
